We don't just
dump it.
Here's our actual approach — stated plainly, without percentages or partnerships we can't back up.
When it's practical, we look for responsible disposal, recycling, or donation options depending on the items and circumstances — rather than treating every load the same way. That's a description of how we try to operate, not a guarantee about any specific item or job.
What that means in practice
Some items we remove are genuinely reusable — furniture in good condition, working appliances. Where it's practical, we'd rather those go somewhere useful than straight to a landfill. Other items — damaged, worn out, or simply not reusable — are disposed of appropriately instead.
What we won't claim
We're not going to publish a landfill-diversion percentage, a recycling rate, or a list of charity partnerships we don't have. If and when we build real relationships with local donation or recycling partners, we'll say so specifically and accurately here — not before.
Hazardous & regulated materials
Certain hazardous, regulated, or prohibited materials may not be accepted, since they require specific handling we're not set up to provide. If you're unsure whether an item falls into that category, send a photo and ask before scheduling.
