How pricing
actually works.
We don't publish a flat rate card, because a single couch and a garage full of mixed junk aren't the same job. Here's exactly what goes into a price, and how to get one.
We price the job,
not a rate card.
Photos let us see the actual volume and type of material before we quote — no need to schedule an in-person estimate just to get a number. Send clear photos from a few angles, mention where the items are located, and we can usually give you a straightforward price the same day.
Send us
- Clear photos from a few angles.
- Your ZIP code.
- Where the items are — curb, garage, upstairs, etc.
- Stairs or tight access, if there is any.
Four things move the number.
Volume
How much space it takes up in the truck is the biggest factor — one item vs. a full load changes the price more than anything else.
Material
Some items take more labor or require special handling — appliances and mattresses, for example, are priced differently than a box of clothes.
Access & labor
Stairs, elevators, long carries to the truck and tight spaces take more time — and bigger or heavier jobs need more hands. The quote reflects the crew and time it actually takes.
Special handling
A handful of items need extra care or additional information before we can quote accurately — we'll ask if that's the case for your job.
More than the photos showed? You'll hear it first.
We'll let you know the updated price on-site before doing anything further — you're never charged for a surprise without being told first.
What's included
- Carrying and loading. Our crew handles all of it — you don't move anything first.
- A swept space when we're done.
- A price that holds when we show up, not a lowball that changes on-site.
A quick back-and-forth over text.
Photos get us most of the way to an accurate price, but every so often we'll ask a follow-up question:
- How many stairs there are
- Whether an appliance still has refrigerant
- How wide a doorway is
Three texts, tops.
